Application installed after Wine notified that two other components were needed. They has also been downloaded and installed successfully.
After installation, two error windows appeared:
- Parameter error - There is now Windows program configured to open this type of file.
The application has created a desktop icon, however, the only way to open the app and receive the error is through the menu; Wine>Program Files>The Weather Channel>Desktop Weather> Desktop Weather

resolving 'fixed' for the _old_ installer here.
The latest version available for download doesn't install for me, tracking with a new bug.
The other issues are likely already reported. Don't create potential dupes without prior research.
