Hmmm... Did this happened in previous wine versions? If not, then this is a regression which is suspiciously similar to bug 22162.
Any chance, Lenny, that you could revert commit mentioned in bug 22162 and test your game. I intentionally don't put here the commit till it is confirmed.

Confirming in latest git, so probably not related to mentioned bug, I also tested some older wine versions and every version where RCT3 is working has this bug (it may vanish after longer time in recent versions but this may be only my feeling). This can also be reproduced with a demo. ftp://ftp.atari.com/demos/rct3/RCT3_USA_DEMO_FINAL.exe

--- Comment #4 from Michael Dugger dmugger@gmail.com 2010-05-29 01:08:57 --- When this occurs the output is:
err:gdi:alloc_gdi_handle out of GDI object handles, expect a crash
Seems from what I can gather RCT3 eventually runs out of surfaces to draw cursors on. I don't know how to fix it or I would.

--- Comment #5 from Gareth tgheretford@gmail.com 2010-08-24 14:51:16 --- I think this bug may be getting worse. Now when I play the game, not only do I get the "err:gdi:alloc_gdi_handle out of GDI object handles, expect a crash" output on the command line, but at the same time, this output occurs and I get thrown back to the desktop:
X Error of failed request: BadPixmap (invalid Pixmap parameter) Major opcode of failed request: 93 (X_CreateCursor) Resource id in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 723717 Current serial number in output stream: 723721
Always seems to happen about five minutes into playing the game.
What was an annoying bug is now a showstopper.

--- Comment #6 from JimmyPaterson@gmx.de 2010-09-20 11:14:18 CDT --- I can confirm the crash as specified by Gareth (2010-08-24) with wine1.3.3, wine1.2 and wine1.0 from ubuntu repositories. The game is unplayable in this state.
