After configuring the Wine prefix Windows version to Windows 95, the 16-bit
installer application was launched. Dialog boxes worked normally, but after the
dialog that requests installation location, the installer hangs. Relay logs
show the hang to be in:

No normal terminal output was emitted, and the relay logs span about 6 MB of
space.

I have an installed copy of the game, but it also hangs -- in this case when
attempting to start a new game.  This is with 1.1.24

I don't know how to discover where it is hanging, but I'm happy to do any
useful tests.  Running with WINEDEBUG=+all is staggeringly noisy, but when it's
hung it seems to be doing this sequence over and over:

Like Michael Abbott in Comment 4, the screen goes black and hangs on "New Game"
under wine 1.2 (OpenSUSE 11.3 1.2-0.1.1 x86_64 package).  This is with the Good
Ole Games (gog.com) Digital release of Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time for
Win95.

I wonder if this should be treated as a different issue -- this really isn't an
installer issue anymore.

Journeyman 2: Buried in Time crashes on new game after selecting "skip intro".
(hangs when "show intro" is selected).   UI draws first.
