Latest patch ( attachment 36317 ) applied and worked fine on wine 1.3.34 wich
is a quite recent version of wine, but I didn't tested after that.

Outside of that, if I recall correctly the patch here does nothing to textures,
so likely is something else on the newest wine version. Test it with an
unpatched wine build, and if the behaviour is there (I bet it will), open a bug
about that issue.
