The summary pretty much describes the problem: the background music (MIDI) in Alonix doesn't play. These are the minimum tweaks required to get it working at present:
DLL overrides from winetricks directx9: dmband dmime dmsynth dmusic
File copied from Windows: C:\windows\system32\drivers\gm.dls
Take away any one of these, and there's no background music in-game.
