Attempting to get Brothers Keeper working on Wine, and discovered that a
previous  person had run vbrun, so I did the same, with the following result:

peterm@peterm-desktop:~$ winetricks vbrun60

I note there is no separator between the two paths given, so I think this is
why my program will not run correctly. How do I correct my path variable?  The
file msvbvm60 is present in the correct place.

I can't reproduce this; winetricks vb6run installs fine here in a clean
wineprefix.

Messages from winetricks about an installed file not being found usually come
from having an unclean wineprefix and/or using an outdated copy of winetricks.
Try a clean wineprefix with current winetricks.

This should not contain the element 'dosdevices'.

I have now removed all the programs from wine, removed the .winefolder, and
tried to reinstall wine1.5,

used winetricks riched60
and winetricks vbrun60,

reinstalled brothers keeper,

And still got the problem that BK6 hangs after editing a field.

Not sure what to try now.

Sorry, and thank you.

winetricks vbrun60 does not give an error about this file, when it is present
in the proper case. Once I had renamed it in upper case, winetricks vbrun did
not complain about it.

It tells me that vb6run is correctly installed.

Not sure what to try now.

Stop changing the resolution. This bug is invalid. File a separate bug for the
problem you are having with Brothers Keeper.
