Moreover, even with the previous WM code I was thinking about going the PBuffer way as it was the only way to really map to what Windows does (like being able to change the OpenGL visual 'on the fly').
Finally if the PBuffer implementation is good enough, there should not be that much of a speed difference between 'normal' windowed OpenGL operations and 'PBuffer' windowed operation (did not do any benchmarks yet though :) ).
