No, it's true, Huw's the man here. The only question is whether he gets to work on it full time. Judging by his commits, he's working on something else (outlook?).
If somebody wants to take his tree and try extending it to handle one of these apps, that would be great.

My previous comment was aimed more as the "gradual introduction" of DIB engine. As far as I can understand, the *only* possibility for DIB engine to get accepted by Alexander would be in small steps. So, IMHO, the only way to do it would be to introduce a skeleton with just calls to X11Drv (that one can't be done in small pieces, I'm afraid, but should do no harm, being just a forward to good old driver...) and then start implementing the stuff in groups of functions.
Am I wrong ?
