[Bug 6457] Orbiter crashes upon game startup

I tried to play it using 1280x1024, but besides being very slow, the graphics
were of such poor quality as to make it unplayable. It also crashed X.Org when I
tried to exit (no error message, either on the shell or X.Org's log).
