Bug ID: 45110 Summary: Crash when running courselab 2.4 Product: Wine Version: 1.6.2 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: cjrw42@gmail.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 61295 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=61295 courselab 2.4 backtrace
I have installed courselab 2.4 (educational resource dev package which creates HTML based sites), using the MSI, and all appears to have gone OK. Courselab runs, grabs credentials, generates the licence key which is emailed and entered fine, but as soon as you begin to create a new project it crashes out.
backtrace included.

generates the licence key which is emailed
I tried it but never received email, so couldn`t test further. Do you need to do some special things to try this?

--- Comment #2 from CJ cjrw42@gmail.com --- Nope,
Free version of courselab (2.4) is down loaded from http://courselab.com/view_doc.html?mode=doc&doc_id=579996099257914856
Which is a zip file. Unpack the zip and you get the msi.
It does have to be 2.4, not 2.7 as I believe 2.7 uses a hardware key and isn't free.
Install the 2.4 msi... Then run up the exe file. It should prompt for some user details and email address, then emails a simple reg key to continue... That all works for me fine, but beyond that it falls over as soon as I begin creating a new course.
It works fine on same pc using virtual box and a very minimal xp image, so can discount some architecture aspects.
Let me know what else I can do to help

After trying to install the MSI, it crashed on lack of cabinet support. It can be installed via winetricks (https://wiki.winehq.org/Winetricks).
This leads me to think you do not have clean WINEPREFIX.
Can you give the output of the following command please?
$ winetrciks list-installed
