Error log

I am attempting to run the game dragon age: origins in fedora 12 x86_64 with
latest updates from the repository. I used winetricks to install various things
i saw on the appdb, including vcrun2005, and then used the .exe with the no_cd
crack. When trying to start up, it has errors about msvcr80.dll(attached) and
then comes up with a error dialog box(also attached). I'm not sure whether i'm
doing something wrong still, or whether it is a bug, so i would appreciate
troubleshooting help.

P.S. I've also tried copying a msvcr80.dll download from the internet. Same
error. Different error if i remove msvcr80.dll.

Update to 1.1.42 then install the application with Wine.

It looks like you're trying to run this program from your Windows installation.

Okay, i'll try to update. However, i am not trying to run from my windows
installation. I installed it with wine.

That's a non-standard location... what is the file system type on this
mountpoint?

That particular one was a ntfs, i had originally installed it to a ntfs
partition, with the intent of being able to run it from either OS, but I
installed it from wine. However, i just installed it to the regular location,
and i'm getting no difference in the error. Haven't finished installing 1.1.42
yet though.

Attach new terminal output with 1.1.42 and after installing under Wine and not
on the NTFS partition (you won't be able to share the installation between Wine
and Windows anyway).

New wine error log after 1.1.42 installed

Okay, well with 1.1.42 compiled from git repository it works better(as in it
actually attempts to start, but loads the intro video with the EA logo,
extremely small(maybe 800 x 600? hard for me to tell), then just hangs, looping
the intro video. New error log added, it's the output with WINEDEBUG set to
warn+all. Regular output didn't seem to give hardly any info. Other programs
work fine, such as EVE Online.

I apologize, I'm not exactly an expert. I'm not familiar with the "rules and
regulations". Do you have any ideas what is wrong?

Works fine for me on wine-1.2rc2 with just 'wisotool dragonage'
which just does winetricks physx vcrun2005
I think it worked on 1.1.39, too.

Try installing again on a clean wineprefix.

The originally reported bug, not running, was apparently fixed, at least
according to comment 7.  The new bug, a crash during the install, is reported
in bug 22091 (which has a patch).  I'm going to mark this one fixed.
