Summary: Wine creates a 2nd Window when minimsing FlashFXP 2.1 Product: Wine Version: 1.1.3 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: geist1@sms.at
By using wine 1.1.3 and FlashFXP V2.1 i run into a problem when hiding the FlashFXP window.
In the taskbar there will be a 2nd Entry FlashFXP2 , whenever i click on that. only a small window titlebar appears, there is nothing under the titlebar, the window disappears, if flashfxp get closed.
Problem does not appear on any other of my tested application (e.g. WinRar) , but minimise/restore in FlashFXP worked correctly in Wine 1.1.2 and before.

--- Comment #2 from Reinhard Berger geist1@sms.at 2008-09-03 09:16:49 --- Created an attachment (id=15808) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=15808) Picture of the Minimize Bug
This Picture shows what will happen if you hide and restore the window of FlashFXP.
In the middle of the screen you see a blue frame that will come from a 2nd window of flashfxp.

--- Comment #3 from Reinhard Berger geist1@sms.at 2008-09-03 09:18:18 --- I've done a regression test now, but can not find the bug.
Even that the bug is not present in 1.1.2, i entered the version 1.1.2 as good and 1.1.3 as bad.
It comes to the message : 0 revisions left to test after this but even after this, the bug ist still tjere.
This is the last output : geist@GST:~/Test/wine-git$ git bisect bad e459ac84ee8caecd25f5c6027e17c917d412f5fe is first bad commit commit e459ac84ee8caecd25f5c6027e17c917d412f5fe Author: Juan Lang juan.lang@gmail.com Date: Fri Jul 11 08:20:35 2008 -0700

--- Comment #4 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-09-03 09:35:58 --- Looks like a duplicate of bug 15069. Please check if the commit in that bug is source of your problem as well.

--- Comment #5 from Reinhard Berger geist1@sms.at 2008-09-03 13:18:03 --- Yes it seems smiler to Bug15062 , except that the EXE in BUG 15062 only appears once in the taskbar of kwin.
Also the frame window looks a bit diffrent (once can still see the frame window, while in FlashFXP you can't even see this frame (see attached picture).
But i think the bug behind this will be same, since FlashFXP is written in Borland Delphi too.
Then it seems that TMEGEnc is written too in Delphi, since it shows the same problems.
I'll wait for a new version of wine, too see if it is fixed or not.
Thanks

--- Comment #6 from Kirurgs edzis@inbox.lv 2008-09-06 17:02:37 --- PL/SQL Developer (Delphi) is affected too. Wine 1.1.4 doesn't solve the issue.
