err:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_Reset Cannot change the device window yet
This is probably the main cause of the crash.

What would help diagnose that? A +d3d trace? Or some other flags?

This appears to affect Safari 5.0 (7533.16) as well.
Also, I forgot to mention. It is also still present in wine 1.2rc2, which is what I tested with Safari 5.0 (7533.16).

--- Comment #10 from doekia doekia@gmail.com 2010-11-04 18:37:32 CDT --- Just in case that helps those of you on the case.
Using Wine 1.2 (Ubuntu Lucid release) you can have all of the feature (but the top) working such as new tab, debugger screen... By setting the reg key HKCU\Software\Wine\Direct3D\PixelShaderMode = SZ "disabled"
This cause Safari to remove the "top" feature by the way.
my bottle setting: rm -rf .wine winetricks fontfix fontsmooth-gray nocrashdialog wine SafariSetup.exe regedit pixelshaderoff.reg
safari version 5.0.2 (7533.18.5) I have changed also the "New Tab" to "Empty Page", and for cosmetic Apparence / Font smooting to "light" in Safari
Hope this helps

--- Comment #13 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2013-08-20 20:22:08 CDT --- Apple no longer has that page online. Youtube can play videos, in full screen, fwiw.
I no longer see that fixme in wine, so the issue may have been fixed (else, abandoned). Henri?

IIRC that FIXME was fixed by commit 90739d9474451f336101184610bf9c99ddd093e7, so the bug could very well be fixed.
