Summary: QIP (single) icon transparency problem Product: Wine Version: 1.2-rc1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: wylda@volny.cz
Created an attachment (id=28328) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=28328) Screenshot showing the problem in wine-1.2-rc1-142-ga72f3f3
I found a single icon, which has transparency problem in QIP. It's in preferences and pointed by red arrow. Notice that blue arrow shows that other one is fixed in current git (wine-1.2-rc1-142-ga72f3f3), so maybe we can't have them all transparent.
Maybe this could be marked as regression, but doing a regression test when there is everyday change would not be useful (speculation: failing commit showing non-existing code or code heavily changed??).
Sorry if this is a duplicate of some bug - i simply got lost in so many transparency issues and tell me, if regression test can help here.

Wylda, isn't this a duplicate of bug 22888?
No, because this one is still present in wine-1.2-rc3. * QIP Infium v2.0.9032rc4 * Create QIP account (no need for ICQ, Jabber, etc.) * click "Preferences" icon -> tab "Accounts"
1. I did a regression test between 1.1.43 and 1.1.44:
commit 4c03fd013812dcc499b83e8b34c074f36acf801b Author: Alexandre Julliard julliard@winehq.org Date: Fri May 7 12:41:40 2010 +0200
user32: Use the correct rop when blitting an icon in DrawIconEx.

2. No other bug report suffers from this commit.
3. Revert of this patch after git checkout makes that problem go away. (unable to revert on top of 1.2-rc3)
--private keyword: bisected
PS: Don't know, whether window with different IM icons shouldn't be also white (instead of gray) or this is given by used theme??

Hi Alexandre, sorry for being impertinent and opening again. The fix did not reach the "quality" of 1.1.43. The shadows are turned into black. See attachment and red arrows.

--- Comment #7 from Alexandre Julliard julliard@winehq.org 2012-01-12 15:17:02 CST --- Actually it's not correct in 1.1.43 either, the transparency is broken too, only it uses a white background so it's less obvious. If you select a row you'll see that it's still white.
I'm considering this one fixed since the transparency works now. Please file a new bug for the incorrect blending at the edges.
