[Bug 27061] New: iNode Client could not start

1. download http://helpdesk.sysu.edu.cn/images/stories/uploads/iNodeSetup3.60-6208.exe

2. register a native netcfgx.dll, workaround for Bug 27060

3. winetricks -q vcrun2005, workaround for Bug 23094

4. install iNodeSetup3.60-6208.exe with wine.

5. try to run iNode Client.exe : However, iNode Client just display a icon in the system tray bar for a while an then quit automatically . Is there any workaround?

Can't retest in 1.3.37. The download link is giving status 403 forbidden.

Thanks Bruno. The donwload link is dynamic generated by a php script, my bad. You can download it from http://ishare.iask.sina.com.cn/f/6987104.html , but it is in Chinese only.

I try with wine-1.3.37-254-g14b790a without any native dll and the problem still present.

After some trial and error it only seems to need:

'List' subkey with 'TDI' REG_MULTI_SZ value (no further deps)

This allows the 'H3C iNode' service install to succeed and bring up the main user interface.

Thanks Jactry. I'm able to reproduce in wine-1.7.54-302-g5cf9539, and the patch works on top of that.
