Summary: Oceans in Spore render mostly black Product: Wine Version: 1.1.5 Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: eyecreate@gmail.com
In every stage I've played so far(all of them except space), when there is water to render, the water near your character or view is black. You can see the water in the distance is correct, but as soon as you move to see it, it turns black too. Screenshot attached.

--- Comment #2 from Kevin Whitaker eyecreate@gmail.com 2008-10-02 19:27:18 --- okay, I found out why it does that, sorta. It does it when lighting quality is on low. Once I turned it up to high, I got the attached picture. Should be a better way to render on lower lighting than black, as it makes it look buggy.
