showing error of internet explorer and why wine closing

I.E6 with wine use to work up to a couple of weeks ago, but has
suddenly created a error see attached, can some one vies and advise?

How did you install ie6? Is the only problem that popup? If so, you can ignore
it, or disable the gui debugger.

thats where the instructions that I followed came from, so therefore I thought
that is must to be support by winehq, if not how do I run I.E 6 or 7 thru linux
(Kubuntu)?

Wine doesn't support native ie6. It depends on a lot of native stuff that wine
can't support. Use ies4linux to run it, but report any problems to its
developers.

winetricks ie6 is broken as of current git as well. I didn't get around to do a
real regression test, but the 1.1.21 release works.

Manual installation following the howto from appdb fails as well with the same
error message.

Spoke too soon. The installation doesn't fail anymore with this patch
 but I don't have iexplore.exe. Another regression?

Hm, seems like setting winver to win2k fixes this. I'm pretty sure this used to
work with the default version before, but I've wasted enough time looking for
today. Works with 1.1.22 when winver is set to win2k. Marking this bug as
fixed.

I have now got wine 1.1.21 installed as a upgrade yesterday but agin the same
thing happens wont load up IE6 as with errors and wants to close??

I've tried with ies4linux-latest and Wine 1.1.22 and it installs and runs just
fine for me. I've also tried with winetricks. Did you clean out the WINEPREFIX?

You'd need to reinstall it, that gave you a fresh wineprefix.

Not unless you ran wine as root.

I need to re install what?
I just used it and logging into www.google.com.au and then gmail
and it worked so I tried my www.hotmail.com but again said a problem
with 
"The program IEXPLORE.EXE has encountered serious problem and needs to close"
when it was downloading the pictures that go with this hotmail loging site?

If you're still using ies4linux, clear the prefix of that, wherever that is.
~/.ies4linux probably.

I tried $ rm -rf ~/.wine in terminal window, and didnt work and it removed all
my wine/xp pro progams I havce running on K, so I just reverted to my backup
copy of K on my other bkup 40gb disc,

You supposed to remove ~/.wine directory (or move it, or use different
WINEPREFIX), install your program (IE) and re-test it. Of course you have to
use wine-1.1.22.

I am using wine-1.1.22., but as I said when I do the $ rm -rf ~/.wine in
terminal window, I loose everything that I had set up for wine .

attempted to do this, but I think I messed up on the procedure to do so, and
cause I am a newbie with all this, I need instructions to follow to resolve
this-
Just this minute I used wine to connected to www.goggle.com.au/gmail, thru
my I.E6 and it worked ok and will test with other sites, but cant understand
why
it works with other site and not hotmail?

The bug was about ie6 not working at all, which is fixed.

If you have problems without using ies4linux, open a new bug please.
