Pressure sensitivity perfectly works with Photoshop CS2. Baut after installing
and playing with CS4 and 5, I realized it doesn't work.

Also, CS5 is runnig cool on Wine, but I need to get a special version with a
loader. CS5 run exactly like CS4 : fine !

This bug also seems to be affecting Manga Studio EX. I can confirm that WACOM
sensitivity is being registered by non-Wine apps e.g. GIMP on my current setup.

Another user affected by this bug.
Again, tablet (wacom graphire) works fine aside from pressure in Photoshop CS5.
Pressure works in Linux native programs, ie gimp.
Using wine from ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu-natty

Patch to get photoshop painting

Since the bug made it in the 1.4 release, here a patch for it.

This patch will fix the behavior by disabling the caching of keys in
GetAsyncKeyState. This is just for the people who need Photoshop and a current
wine version and not any solution to the problem itself.

Since I never developed anything for wine, I couldn't figure up a good solution
to the bug, but hopefully the wine developers will fix it.

This problem continues with wine 1.5.19. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix
this?
It's urgent for me to get pressure sensitivity working with Photoshop CS4 in
Wine 1.5.19 or 1.5.20.  I can patch my wine build easily and test if anyone has
any ideas on what to fix.  I will note that if I use a native wintab32, eraser
stops working.  If I use built-in wintab32, eraser works.  Pressure doesn't
work in either case. Help please!

This bug affects me to. And its pity, because everything else in photoshop
works. To mention this bug is not in photoshop only. So far pressure
sensitivity in wine works only in OpenCanvas program. Other programs i've
checked didn't recognized pressure of my wacom pen.

Just to add on this issue, WACOM pressure works JUST FINE in ZBrush 4R4 running
on latest wine 1.5.29, but still doesn't with Photoshop CS6!

This trace is from wine 1.5.5 with the two patches referred to in comment #9
I see the tablet detected, but wonder why photoshop cs4 can't use it.
Hopefully this trace helps get to the bottom of it?

sensitivity in gimp and other native non-wine applications.
