When trying to install Longbow 2, by entering

wine /media/cdrom/SETUP.exe

in the terminal, the installer starts and works fine. The installer also starts
the copying of files. However, it stops around 80% during the copying of files
with an "ERROR, Copying Files " message being displayed in the installer after
that. There are no error messages or Fixmes in the terminal window, as if the
program is running fine.

I'd dig deeper, only I don't know how, else I would have provided more
information here or even solved it myself. If anyone knows which steps I should
proceed so I could provide even more information, please tell me.

Why isn't it a blocker? It doesn't crash or have loss of functionality, but it
sure does prevent my testing by not getting me anywhere near the application
itself and not giving me any other error messages with which I can work with.
Im not questioning your decision, just wanting to understand a bit more about
bug reporting.

Sorry, I'm kinda new with Wine.

Anyway, how can I get more information regarding my bug so I can have more
details in this bug report?

Blocker means "blocking development/testing for everyone." If you read the
description for critical, would you say this bug should be rated as more severe

I tried out the demo version. The exe itself is a self-extracting zip. After
extraction, I ran demo.exe, where a window pops up allowing me to select
software rasterizer, 3dfx or direct3d. I select software rasterizer and crashes
with these errors:

err:syslevel:_EnterSysLevel (0x7ee43c20, level 2): Holding 0x7ed2f3c0, level 3. 
Expect deadlock!

err:syslevel:_EnterSysLevel (0x7ee43c20, level 2): Holding 0x7ed2f3c0, level 3.

err:seh:setup_exception stack overflow 16 bytes in thread 000e eip b7d285d0 esp
00240ff0 stack 0x241000-0x350000

The err:syslevel errors just repeat from the beginning finally terminating at
the err:seh:setup_exception.

But, since the demo version doesn't have the same installer as the CD version,
how do I find out what causes the problems with the CD installer as well as
getting the program itself to work?

I tried installing Longbow 2 in a Windows installation, and copied the files
from there to my linux box.

After running wine LB2.EXE I get:

This is still an issue in wine-0.9.59. Attached stack for the error, produced
on Ubuntu 8.04 "Hardy" x86_64.

This is still a bug in wine-1.0-rc1 Hardy x86 32-bit.
The stack trace looks extremely similar (possibly the same) as the error stack
that Dileep Vasu posted.

Yes, this is still an issue with Wine 1.1.8. I'm attaching the output of
WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+tid wine SETUP.EXE 2>lb2.log

Note that the debug log is 72M in size.

I have tried this in the latest version of Wine (1.1.22). It still does not
work. Did anyone look at the debug logs I had attached before? Some
comments/updates on that would be appreciated, for it doesn't look like we know
what the cause of the problem is, and this bug's status remains UNCONFIRMED.

I just tested this with 1.1.35 and I still can't install it. It still gives me
an "ERROR, Copying Files " message.

I did  what Dileep Vasu did and did a WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+tid wine SETUP.EXE
2>lb2.log. I'll be attaching it shortly.

This is still an issue with wine 1.5.7. Would really like to install this game
