Bug ID: 39680 Summary: AnarchyOnline crashes when trying to logon a second account Product: Wine Version: 1.6.2 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: edwardf.beck@gmail.com Distribution: ---
When I start anarchy online and try to start the app with an account other than the account I first used the AwesomiumProcess.exe encounters a serious problem and needs to close.
I am not sure what other information I should be sending. I tried to see the details by clicking the "show Details" button, but it does nothing.

--- Comment #1 from Vijay Kamuju infyquest@gmail.com --- What is the version of wine used. Please use wine 1.8 rc1 and post the terminal log
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39680
--- Comment #2 from Ed edwardf.beck@gmail.com --- as stated above this is 1.6.2 (stable) I noticed that 1.8 rc1 is unstable. With my lack of knowledge of linux I do not think this would be a wise thing for me to do. I could post the terminal log from 1.6.2 if I knew how to find it.
If this is going to be too much trouble there should be some way to delete this bug.

There is nothing wrong with using development, "unstable" version of wine. It's more wrong to use outdated software.
This bug could be already be fixed in a version of wine that has been build after 1.6.2. Also even the bug report would be valid, and it would be fixed in some version of wine you wouldnt benefit at all because of your wine version you are using. There is no way your 1.6.2 is suddenly going to work if the fix is needed to be done inside wine souce and external overrides don't work.
All the bugs should be reported against development version so they can be fixed against it and all the fixes would land into next stable release.

--- Comment #4 from Ed edwardf.beck@gmail.com --- sorry to have bothered you. Perhaps when I figure out linuxmint a bit more I will start using Development software.
Just wondering what happened to 1.7?

1.7.x were the development versions preparing for 1.8. Now that 1.8 is being finalized, there is no 1.7.x (1.7.55 was the last one).
