Clip Studio Paint (ver.19.11) crashes when accessing fonts on wine-staging 5.9
You may ask "why not use the latest 5.12 version?" and that's because ver 5.9 is the last version Clip Studio Paint opens on. in version 5.12 it wont boot, as it immediately page faults. using a 32-bit wineprefix does not solve the issue, nor does it occur naively on windows.

1. press "EX" to enter trial mode (you don't need to create an account) 2. wait for the popup window to finish rendering, then close it 3. select the text tool (an icon with "A") 4. select a font other than the default 5. click somewhere on the blank canvas 6. type some letters
The crash site seems to vary wildly, and sometimes it crashes even before step 6. I also see signs of heap corruption, e.g. it crashed at least once inside HEAP_MakeInUseBlockFree().

No version pass 5.17 can successfully run Clip Studio Paint anymore. Clip Studio Paint version 1.9.11 runs under 5.17, but newer Clip Studio Paint versions do not run, with a "syncing error" occurring. I can't get a back-trace for this error, as it crashes before it can save it, but i can post a back-trace for ver. 1.9.11's crash in wine-staging 9.1 (9.2 has the exact same page fault, i just didn't get a trace for it)
The issue stems from a page fault at 0xffffff(continues). It's gotten so bad, I don't think the WineHQ wiki should say Clip Studio runs in Linux. A very specific version of CSP runs in a very specific version of wine, and if either of the two are off it wont run. I guess it was fun while it lasted
