I tried running the VB.Net app on 1.5.19 with exact same results. When run from
the command line it produces a massive, console over flowing error log. I had a

After running:

I got a different error. Any ideas?

Thanks for the report.

I've seen a similar error to this before, so I suspect the issue is that Mono's
implementation of WindowsFormsApplicationBase doesn't implement the Startup
event, so the application is running without its initialization code.

I was able to run a C# application, however when I clicked on a button it
crashed.

Without a test case, there's no way to figure out what's going on in this
application. Also no response from bug author in 5 years, resolving abandoned.
