Bug #: 31365 Summary: Shaiya FPS drop after ~1 min of game playing Product: Wine Version: 1.5.9 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: qbanin@gmail.com Classification: Unclassified
For about 1 min after running Shaiya I have ~20-25 fps, but after this time (of doing nothing in the game) framerate drops to 5-10 fps. In the meantime console is spammed with:

You could try running with "WINEDEBUG=-all wine <program>" to check if the fps drop is due to the console spamming.

Ups, sorry :)
"You could try running with "WINEDEBUG=-all wine <program>" to check if the fps drop is due to the console spamming."
I did it, but it didn't fix performance issue.
P.S. I'm Nvidia GeForce 8600m 256MB RAM owner with lastest 304.30 driver version. Tried previous drivers up to 290.10 but doesn't change anything.

--- Comment #3 from Qba qbanin@gmail.com 2012-08-01 13:08:41 CDT --- While I have 20-25 and higher fps, the cpu usage is around 80%, but in the moment when fps drop to 10 and lower fps, cpu usage of the game process grows to 100%. After ~30 secs everything come back to normal, and repeat after another ~30 secs.
Diagram of cpu usage looks more or less like a sinusoid.

--- Comment #4 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for two years. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.25 or newer) wine?
