--- Comment #1 from tim@theborlands.us --- Created attachment 54587 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=54587 Steam crash
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40695
--- Comment #2 from tim@theborlands.us --- I am also getting a crash when trying to run Steam. I thought this might be relevant, since the version of FONV I'm running is from Steam. Attached a backtrace.

--- Comment #3 from super_man@post.com --- I think the other backtrace is steam related that has it's own bug open. And the winegstreamer related issue could be recent additions into wine.

Must be a dupe. Since the wine version is the same, the component is the same and the game is the same.

--- Comment #7 from Béla Gyebrószki gyebro69@gmail.com --- The crash should be fixed with https://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/8d3392a8ce4e75eaca858c2c96f666...
Tested (and reproduced the issue) with Fallout 3 GOTY and Fallout: New Vegas (Steam).
Please retest with Wine 1.9.23 and confirmed the fixed state.

--- Comment #8 from winebugs@63bit.net --- Using 1.9.23, the crash on startup is "fixed". However, logs are littered with gstreamer != null assertion failures, then wineclient: pipe: too many open files. This leads to eventual save game corruption. Issue is not present with winegstreamer disabled again. It seems like it may leak file handles? I will try to capture better logs.

Thanks for testing again. Please open a new bug for the new failure so we can keep one problem per bug.
