This a follow up of Bug 32160 .
You can reproduce it follow: 0. download it md5sum pptvsetup_3.2.1.0076.exe 0798f55492a75b9461cacd48f038f562 pptvsetup_3.2.1.0076.exe ; 1. 'winetricks -q mfc42' to get a workaround ; 2. 'wine pptvsetup_3.2.1.0076.exe' and the program will not do anything after this line was printed: "fixme:atl:AtlModuleInit SEMI-STUB (0x6d63f78 0x6d64000 0x6cf0000) " and it does not exit.
And 'winetricks -q jscript' can get a workaround for it.
my test enviroment: - Ubuntu 12.10 32bit - wine-1.5.19-244-gf28324a - pptvsetup_3.2.1.0076

This line of log looks strange, please make sure no custom patch applied on Wine.
Other wise I can reproduce this bug, the installer hangs at start.

Thanks for your remind. I also found this line on my another log of Bug 32499 . I will check my wine soon.

Sorry, tested with unclean wine prefix, wrong test result.
Retest again with clean wine prefix, and it still present, native jscript is needed.

You dont need to install jscript anymore. But the installer seem to go into loop at the that it can resume itself anymore. But if you go to the install directory, there is the exe.
I would even close this because the follow up bug is so similar.
