SugarSyncManager had been running for at least a few hours if not a day or 2
when this happened.  I came home to the error.  backtrace.txt attached.

What version of wine?

Looks like a null pointer reference, but it's hard to tell.

How repeatable is it?  Does 'winetricks wininet' help?

So far this particular crash only happened once, and the windows app itself
seems to be in rough shape given the number of files it's trying to upload on
its initial sync -- it silently crashes on its own.

I will post more info as I test more.

No, I'm running it solely on linux under wine, its just that I've had a few
crashes (amidst poor performance that I suspect is related to the number of
files I'm attempting to sync), and only one of them resulted in the "send a bug
report to wine" dialog.

That log is different, you're missing
msvcp80.dll.??0?$basic_ostringstream@_WU?$char_traits@_W@std@@V?$allocator@_W@2@@std@@QAE@H@Z
which was fixed in wine 1.5.8, see bug 27389.

Please try with a more recent wine (latest is wine-1.5.13),
or try 'winetricks vcrun2005'.

Ian, does this still happen for you with wine-1.5.13 or so?

I have to upgrade my entire distribution to get wine 1.5, and I'm not sure when
that will happen... but I will update this when I do.

Hello folks,

I can't reproduce this, works fine here in clean WINEPREFIX.

You might need to work around bug 35041 (live locks or crashes in libx11)
