--- Comment #1 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
works fine here.
Clean 32-bit WINEPREFIX, only 'mspatcha' winetricks recipe used for installing.
Selected some PDF files from the Reader installation, tweaked output settings in print dialog, print preview, print.

--- Comment #2 from Pekka Helenius fincer89@hotmail.com --- I had exactly the same issue so I did a little research to pin down the problem source.
Finally I found it: it's the native riched20 you use. Open winecfg and use builtin riched20. You should be fine with print feature after doing that.

Before install I used: winetricks riched20 winetricks wsh57
Why have you used these workarounds?

Why have you used these workarounds?
It has been awhile, but I found them suggested by someone somewhere for this application.

--- Comment #5 from linux@drmartinus.de --- I have the same problem, same version. I tried the suggestion about riched20 to choose the builtin version, no luck. Linux is Manjaro, fully upgraded, 64 bit. I may have also done the other winetricks things, I don't remember. If I did, it was because of recommendations from elsewhere. wine 2.0

--- Comment #6 from monkeyboyted@yahoo.com --- Created attachment 61707 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=61707 backtrace for adobe 11
Adobe 11 still crashes on the print dialog. Sidebar text is still gibberish
i used the same winetricks as dvcroft@arb.com
winetricks atmlib winetricks riched20 winetricks wsh57 winetricks mspatcha
I am using wine-development in the Ubuntu 18.04 repos
wine --version wine-3.6 (Ubuntu 3.6-1)
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37897
--- Comment #7 from monkeyboyted@yahoo.com --- Installing the application on 32 bit prefix and .net20 fixes the sidebar text
WINEARCH=win32 winetricks dotnet20
print dialog is still broken.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37897
--- Comment #8 from monkeyboyted@yahoo.com --- Got it working
Install all proper winetricks before attempting to install acrobat Reader 11
WINEPREFIX=/home/$USER/win32 WINEARCH=win32 winetricks atmlib mspatcha dotnet20
Note: If you install acrobat reader before you install all of these tricks, delete the wine prefix and start over. The installer seems to refuse the second time.
Install Acrobat Reader 11
WINEPREFIX=/home/$USER/win32 WINEARCH=win32 wine AdbeRdr11008_en_US.exe
Launching Adobe Reader
WINEPREFIX=/home/$USER/win32 WINEARCH=win32 wine
And print
Options I selected: manually install and disable updates. Always open in protected mode disabled
atmlib - fixes saving and opening pdf. mspatcha - fixes installer dotnet20 - fixes dialog boxes and perhaps the printer
I hope this helps anyone. I reproduced it.

--- Comment #9 from monkeyboyted@yahoo.com --- WINEPREFIX=/home/$USER/win32 WINEARCH=win32 wine AcroRd32.exe
A small correction to launching Adobe Acrobat 11.

--- Comment #10 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
the bug report was invalid from start (thanks Pekka, comment #2).
OP used 'winetricks riched20' which installs native RichEdit control v3.0 (file version 5.30.xx.xxx).
Acrobat 11 requires at least 'msftedit.dll' aka RichEdit 4.1 aka 'RichEdit50W'.
