Summary: "AddFontRessource" Visualbasic function isn't interpretated by wine Product: Wine Version: 0.9.50. Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-resources AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: adam050986@yahoo.fr
Hi,
It seems that "AddFontRessource" (visualbasic function ??) isn't interprated by wine. At the installation of Guitar Pro 5.X, I got message :
"Addfontressource failed"
[Cancel] [Reapeat] [Ignore]
This affect application, because all chords lyrics aren't displayed...
Any solution would be welcome
Thank you for correcting that bug !

--- Comment #1 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2007-12-08 12:31:56 --- And after you get that message what happens?
Doesn't looks like a bug in Wine. There are no ""Addfontressource" functions (note double "s")
What does it say in the terminal when you run it? Wine does not implement visual basic functions - only win32api.

--- Comment #2 from adam adam050986@yahoo.fr 2007-12-08 12:35:33 --- The install continue, but the "Guitar Pro 5.ttf" isn't displayed in the program (where it should be displayed).
I'm sure there's a way to make it displayed, but don't know how... It would be sooo simple if AddFontRessource was associated to something...

--- Comment #3 from adam adam050986@yahoo.fr 2007-12-08 12:55:21 --- Well, I was thinking it was about "Guitar Pro 5.ttf" but it's NOT...
This file contains every little music icon (notes, TAB, rythm sign...), so it's not about this file if Guitar Pro don't display lyrics/chords... >_<

--- Comment #4 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2007-12-08 12:57:27 --- Ok since you don't read, lets try it again:
What does it say in the terminal when you run it?
Describe step-by-step what you did and what didn't work. And what was printed in the terminal.

--- Comment #7 from adam adam050986@yahoo.fr 2007-12-30 09:07:03 --- ok, let's take it from the beginning...
Chords and lyrics aren't displayed on top of tablatures.
I though it was because of this "addfontressource" thing, but it seems *not*.
Satisfied ???

Clink on some note in the tablature and press T, write any text and press ok. The text don't will display.
