When trying to make a connection to the Mercury v4.62 server via POP3, SMTP or IMAP4 the STARTTLS function error out with the following error:

This is very similar to the Pegasus Mail bug 14797 since both are using the same crypto library.

In 1.1.29 the error does look a bit different.

All of the effort seems to be going on in bug 14797, which seems to be a duplicate of this one?

Development recommends to check the status on your bug every release or two and let to be known if the bug is still present. If not, mark it fixed. If you are no longer able to put effort to this ticket, you can abandon it.
