Win2flash is downloadable application from 
http://wintoflash.findmysoft.com/download/ 
Tested version was both the newest available (07.0026 as of today) as some
older versions.

When run, it displays some splash screens, and in the console window there is
"Segmentation fault" error message.

The same version runs OK on the same machine but with WinXP OS.

Please update/reinstall your display drivers. Wine by itself does not crash
with "Segmentation fault".

Could you give exact instructions how to reproduce the crash? I can't get it to

On my machine it is very simple:

$ wine WinToFlash.exe 
fixme:actctx:parse_depend_manifests Could not find dependent assembly
L"Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls" (6.0.0.0)
Naruszenie ochrony pamięci  ["memory protection error"].

I got this error on two different machines, one with Intel GPU, the second one
with NVidia.

This program causes some kind of memory corruption, the crash/hanging behavior
has changed since the bug was opened. Different debug channels will show
different crazy data, like:
trace:winsock:WS_shutdown socket 6e776f64, how -1687566848 0

As original reporter of this bug, I'm happy to report, that with wine 1.5.16
Win2Flash is running OK. I noticed a few minor glitches, but the bug with
crashing application is solved.

Please someone confirm.
