i tried to install IE6 myself to see if i could do anything to see it report that it was using 128 encryption, but failed, and i learned about the winetools controversy, and the wine developers' need to get reports.
so, here's one of those reports: straight out of the box, wine 0.9.25 cannot successfully install IE6 despite reports on winehq's forum that such a thing has been possible since 0.9.16!
