Bug ID: 38961 Summary: In "Modelleisenbahn Simulator Gold" the textures of some objects are missing so they are white Product: Wine Version: 1.7.47 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: ole Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: oebbler@live.de Distribution: Debian
Created attachment 51905 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=51905 Log of Wine while playing "Modelleisenbahn Simulator Gold"
The textures of some aren't displayed so they have their correct shape but no color. I think the bug is in OLE because the logfile has an entry that begins with "fixme: ole". I will attach it although it's only two lines long;-)

--- Comment #1 from super_man@post.com --- Did you handpick your console output? I doubt those lines have anything to do with the real issue.

--- Comment #3 from kukulo kukulo2011@windowslive.com --- If you get white textures on buildings, trains, cars - use the native d3dxof.dll library from a windows 7 installation. Place this into the game's directory and run winecfg and put dll override for d3dxof.dll to native, builtin.

--- Comment #4 from Matteo Bruni matteo.mystral@gmail.com --- It might be helpful if someone can attach a +d3dxof, d3dxof_parsing log with builtin d3dxof.dll.
I guess there is no demo of this game, right?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38961
--- Comment #5 from kukulo kukulo2011@windowslive.com --- There is only a retail version.
I will check whether is possible to generate a parsing log. BTW: With builtin d3dxof there are no error messages, the textures of the objects are just not loaded.

--- Comment #6 from kukulo kukulo2011@windowslive.com --- I stripped the parsing output to this:
fixme:d3d:state_wrap (WINED3D_RS_WRAP0) Texture wrapping not yet supported. fixme:d3d:state_wrapu Render state WINED3D_RS_WRAPU not implemented yet. fixme:d3d:state_wrapv Render state WINED3D_RS_WRAPV not implemented yet. fixme:d3d:state_wrap (WINED3D_RS_WRAP0) Texture wrapping not yet supported. fixme:d3d:state_wrapu Render state WINED3D_RS_WRAPU not implemented yet. fixme:d3d:state_wrapv Render state WINED3D_RS_WRAPV not implemented yet. fixme:d3d:state_wrap (WINED3D_RS_WRAP0) Texture wrapping not yet supported.
Is this something that we are looking for?

--- Comment #7 from Matteo Bruni matteo.mystral@gmail.com --- See https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log (in particular 10.1.2) for instructions on getting a log. You want to put "d3dxof,d3dxof_parsing" after WINEDEBUG= in this case.

Can you try to compress the log? It's very likely that it will shrink enough to be attachable. Thanks.
