Water doesn't appear correctly in the game: as if it was covered by mist (almost completely opaque). Normally, water should be crystal clear, reflecting the surrounded terrain, sky etc. The problem can be observed during the cutscenes as well. I see something similar in Guild Wars as well in the appeareance of water (caused by the same commit).

The reverted patch fixed the problem (wine-1.3.34-295-g4918d91).
Steps to reproduce the problem with the demo:
1. Install the demo as usual. Install corefonts via winetricks. Launch the demo. 2. Choose Single Player > Campaigns then select the tutorial mission. Your starting position is surrounded by water so you can easily observe the problem.

In Bloodrayne 2 the floor appears as repetitive patterns when reflections are enabled.

Apparently D3D video drivers try very hard to make some sense from bad flags settings. I'm writing some tests to investigate that and this patch is the first result. It seems to fix Ground Control 2 for me. I'd like to know if it works for you and whether it helps for the other games too.
