Steps to reproduce: 1) Download, install and run LTSpice - http://ltspice.linear.com/software/LTspiceIV.exe 2) Create a new schematic (File -> New Schematic) 3) Press L, click somewhere (this will create a component in the screen) 4) Press ESC to go back to the select tool, hold CTRL and right-click the component to open a properties window. 5) Resize the window.

--- Comment #1 from testelor@yahoo.com 2012-11-14 00:56:06 CST --- The same resizing issue is true for text/SPICE directives, which are brought up by pressing 'T' or 'S' and then clicking on the schematic to place them. The resizing of the dialog windows that show up by pressing the two keys are the concern.
See the two attachements for a quick example.

--- Comment #4 from testelor@yahoo.com 2012-11-15 11:28:59 CST --- Just a quick note: if the resizing and the zoom/panning are fixed, the others (traces when moving, text lines not cropped, text/device highlight) will be somehow useless, since you'll no longer need to run LTspice with "wine scad3.exe -nowine", to prevent LTspice from detecting a WINE environment (which, I suppose, is the cause of that).

--- Comment #5 from Bruno Jesus 00cpxxx@gmail.com 2012-12-14 17:31:12 CST --- I'm tending to close this bug as a duplicate of bug 32394. If you run with -nowine and with disabled window decorations the screen resizing will work as expected.

--- Comment #6 from testelor@yahoo.com 2012-12-18 06:19:10 CST --- That is not needed if it is run with "-nowine", it only happens when LTspice is run normally, then the downside is the lack of highlighting and the traces left behind (which, as I said, are minor glitches). Run LTspice with no switches and you get no resizing. The real drawback is the slow panning with text antialiasing, bug 32114.
For my part, I don't care if I have to run it with or without "-nowine", with or without windows decorations, as long as it works.

That is not needed if it is run with "-nowine".
Sounds invalid then..

--- Comment #8 from testelor@yahoo.com 2013-01-03 12:22:28 CST --- OK from my part, but then please try to fix the hilighting problem (bug 32224) as large schematics more than welcome it... If that's fixed, the others can be forgotten as the traces are not that much of a hindrance (even if I wouldn't mind them gone :-) ).
