Ubuntu 9.10 amd64 fresh install NVIDIA drivers 195.22 (beta) wine 1.1.34 installed from ppa.
World Of Warcraft crashes after start with message "unhandled exception" (with/without -opengl flag in command line). After crash Wow.exe showing in processes with 100% CPU using. Installing vsredist and directX9 not help.
In Windows XP WoW runs correctly without any errors. On Ubuntu 9.04 with same NVIDIA driver works normal.

Running Ubuntu 9.10 on a crappy Hp Pavilion. Wine version 1.1.37.
I've attached the log, and a copy of my system specs including a lspci | Grep VGA output.
Should I try downgrading wine to 1.1.26? Or is my system just incapable of running it under wine?
I really just wanted to compare running WOW under linux because I used to play it on the same laptop when I ran used windows back in the day.
If it's going to be too much effort, screw it.

It appears to be random, I haven't been able to pinpoint where the problem originates.
running in terminal typically only crashes wow. exiting terminal I am able to relaunch, however several times it will freeze the system.
