Changing the resolution in Sid Meier's Pirates! to anything causes the wine crash dialog to appear and the game to terminate.
I am using Mesa 7.9 and the r300g gallium drivers.
System specs: X1400 radeon Core2 Duo T7400 2 GB Ram Arch Linux

I rebuilt the stack shown with -ggdb, this is the resulting log which is likely more helpful.

From the trace it appears to me that this is a winex11.drv problem.
