Complete log

It hangs with the following log again and again (if you wait):

err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x70460350 "?" wait timed out in
thread 0032, blocked by 0047, retrying (60 sec)

Steps to reproduce:

1. winetricks -q riched20 ie6 mfc42
riched20 is used to work around bug 29636

2. download the binary and install:
http://dl_dir.qq.com/qqfile/tm/TM2009Beta3.4_chs.exe

$ md5sum TM2009Beta3.4_chs.exe
6e3380008c4c492ef858e52f7b72bfa4  TM2009Beta3.4_chs.exe

3. cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Tencent/TM2008/Bin && wine TM.exe

4. Login. I found a testing account here:
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33076#c1 (QQ and TM use the same
account; they are just different clients). Or register one here:
http://reg.imqq.com/

5. wait some random time for it to hang. Several minutes for me with Wine
1.5.29. In the meanwhile you can try to mouse over its UI.

6. kill it with a signal. Ctrl-C won't work.

I just updated to Wine 1.5.30 and the problem is still there.

Crash log for ntdll timeout error

This same bug hangs up Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12.5 Home on program load. It
doesn't do it all the time, but does it frequently.

I have the same error on Debian Sid 64Bits with EA Origin downloader. When i
launch it, the Origin window does not appear and i have the ntdll error message
like this, i must to kill it.

It's very strange because if i try the same wineprefix on Archlinux 64Bits, i
never had this problem, Origin window always appears.

It's maybe a Xorg problem to show the window in Wine ?
Debian Sid uses Xorg 1.12 and Arch uses Xorg 1.14.

Hi Qian Hong,

I haven't tested the git version yet, but upgraded to 1.5.31. After upgrading
wine, the old one keeps crashing after the UI shows up. I reinstalled TM and it
didn't hang today. I'll watch and see for some more time.

Is that patch included in 1.5.31?

Upgrading to 1.5.31 still gives me problems, as noted in the log, when running
NatSpeak. (64-bit).

I've tried both wine 1.5.31 and the git version wine-1.5.31-42-g97f501b. TM
doesn't hang with eiter version.

Which TM version are you using?
Can you offer the sha1sum for it?
