Running Python24-2.4.3_3 with py24-wxPython-2.6.3.3

Adding text to a wxTextCtrl with style wx.TE_RICH2 fails. Style TE_RICH is fine
but I need to be able to colour the text etc. The script was run from an IDLE
session.

Using these oldish versions for compatibility with native FreeBSD versions
used.

Still a problem at Python25-2.5.2_2 py25-wxPython-2.8.7.1_1 wine-1.1.0,1 up to
date on 2 July 2008 from FreeBSD ports

Correct is windows versions:

Still at 1.1.23 but
switched app to Tkinter using Text widget where colours appear as required
(unlike wxPython TextCtrl) (switch nothing to do with this problem)
