Sims 3. You appear to be using Mono, does using dotnet20 from winetricks instead help?
BTW, the launcher isn't needed for that game. You can run the real game directly.

I was running Sims3Launcher.exe (from The Sims 3) via command line, with the command:
wine Sims3Launcher.exe
Then the error occurred. I'm running Ubuntu 10.01 x86_64, wine 1.2.1 from the wine repository.
I know the launcher is not required to play the game, but there's still an error, so I thought it I'd report it (and I selected blocker, because the error blocks me from running the application).
If there's any more you need to know, let me know!
