--- Comment #2 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2012-02-19 13:49:05 CST --- With current wine from git, I get a series of three dialogs, ending in Erreur (Code 2): DM.C
(Does this software work for you on Windows? http://www.myfinepix.co.uk/forum/4/116994 makes me think the same problem might happen there.)

Thanks for replying so quickly.
In fact, the program does not launch, Once the soft is fully installed, I execute it via wine's menu on my ubuntu and I get a fatal error window with the OLE message.
My version of wine is v1.2.2, I would like to install a more recent one, but I can't find it in aptitude or synaptic packages. Are there any .deb packages somewhere I could download ?
Thanks

What distro / arch? Try http://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu
Okay, looks like I asked question before rtfm, sorry for that
I added the apt line "ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa" in apt-get and so I could update wine to version 1.3.37.
I tried the soft with this version and it's better but still not good. The software asks to update the price of their products, and then it crashes "Error in the address 00441590. Read from address 00000004" (I translated from french).
I don't know how to get version 1.4-rc4, I don't see the corresponding package in synaptic or aptitude.
For information, my linux is "Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - le Lynx Lucide -"
Many thanks

--- Comment #7 from Teras teras@luukku.com --- The program has issues, but I am not sure if they are the same mentioned here.
You can install it, you can run it. But I quess it needs windowscodecs. After installing it via winetricks there is a crash after few dialogues.

'winetricks -q gdiplus' works around.
Interestingly 'Photoservice/PhotoGenie' and 'Happy Foto Designer' (bug 32786) seem to share the same code base.
