It has been working relatively well, but after I upgraded to wine 1.9.24,
KakaoTalk suddenly says on launch that it is an unsupported system, and refuses
to run.

"지원하지 않는 시스템입니다.
고객센터로 문의해주시기 바랍니다.
현재버전 : 2.5.0.1377"

which means,

Unsupported system.
Please contact us.
Current version : 2.5.0.1377

Seems like a regression. Does it work if you downgrade wine? If so, can you try
an run a regression test?

If the program is free, can you add an URL and the download tag? Then others
(like me) could try to reproduce the issue and run a regression test for you if
you can't.

I found a windows download. I installed it but it requires an account to
login...

Is this the program and when you get that message?

Oh, I apologize. It turned out that it was only me. Others using KakaoTalk
don't experience the problem, and downgrading Wine or the program itself
doesn't solve it.
I don't know how the error happened but I found a workaround for me; it works
when the program is installed WITH wineprefix and then executed WITHOUT
wineprefix.
I tried to close this report, but as a noob, I couldn't find how. I hoped it to
just get forgotten without any comment :p
Please close this report with UNREPRODUCIBLE oslt.
