Hi,

After running following command:
WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.wine32 wine "C:\Program
Files\Battle.net\Battle.net.exe"
application display a popup with a progress bar,
and at the end of loading, application crash with wine error dialog opened, but
empty.

The only message in log is:
wine: Unhandled exception 0xc0000417 in thread 24 at address 0xfdc3b4 (thread
0024), starting debugger...
but with no details.

Configuration:
  * gentoo
  * wine 1.9.16
  * Battle.net 7730
  * corefonts and vcrun2015 installed using winetricks

The bug was caused by the presence of some librairies listed in winecfg lib
tab.

After removing all thoses libraries from here but "msvcp140" (as specified here
https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?iId=28855&sClass=version), it's
working.

Battle.net could now be launched without any overrides such as msvcp140 with
the last wine nightly version, could you retest it if it's working?

Isnt this a dupe of bug 41409 that was fixed in wine 1.9.21?

I think this bug can be closed because an easy workarround is to not use
install vcrun2015 since wine 1.9.16 release.

You can yourself close bugs that you have created. But bugs shouldnt be closed
when there is a workaround.

Is this bug still valid against more recent wine without any tricks in fresh
wineprefix? If not then this is fixed. If it's still valid something needs to
be fixed.

Well I tested SC2 myself.

SC2 currently needs only 3 workarounds.

bug 41725 override api-ms-win-crt-math-l1-1-0.dll
bug 42001 override ucrtbase.dll
bug 40432 winetrciks -q corefonts

vcrun2015 is no more needed.

I am not sure how this bug should be solved. But vcrun2015 and msvcp140 are no
longer needed. So something got fixed in wine builtin libraries.

Could you solve worksforme?

According to comment 1 and comment 5, this particular crash was caused by using
unnecessary overrides. That makes it invalid.
