[Bug 23236] New: WWIIOnline: joystick not responding

WWIIOnline (Battleground Europe) stopped responding to joystick after release
of version 1.31. In prior versions joystick worked perfectly. Tested on
ubuntu/kubuntu 10.04 and PCLinuxOS 2010.1. Joystick model is Saitek ST290 Pro,
it works OK in other programs under wine.

Perhaps the best route to a solution is to ask the Rats how / if they changed
the joystick input handling in 1.31. That may give us a clue to the problem.

Can you also verify that the joystick does indeed work in the current wine
release in the 1.30 client?

A simple implementation for GetConfig

Hello guys, I think the attached patch fixes this bug. I tested it locally and
I'm able to assign commands to my joystick and use them, but I haven't tested
extensively because in my Intel graphic's card the game doesn't run too well.

I'll be commiting it shortly, meanwhile you can give it a try.
