When attempting to run the demo for the System Shock remake, it loads to a white screen and then after a minute or so it switches to a black screen. I can hear the game's ambient music and sound effects and I assume that, if the game could render graphics in Wine, I am in the main menu screen.

That's bug 39754.
fixme:d3d_shader:shader_glsl_handle_instruction Backend can't handle opcode dcl_input_ps.
That's bug 40873.
You could mark depends on these.
A new log with more recent wine could be useful. 1.9.14 wine is really outdated already.

but it dosen't seem to have any negative effects.
(Not sure if there's much point to track progress on this one. The SS2 project changed engines at some point, and is now on hold.)
