Seems a bug in oleaut32.OleLoadPicture.
While using native oleaut32.dll, application started but not showed any pictures (in splash screen, toolbar buttons, etc)

You mean builtin wine module here or Win module?
In this case I used Win oleaut32.dll from winetricks vcrun6

Where is a crash?
Program actively uses OleLoadPicture function and I guessed that it detects non-properly behavior and closes with error screen (see screenshot)
