Auto-completion feature works fine but when I use it, the window appears with the title bar which is not the case under windows. This title bar hide the text behind which prevents me to use this feature. (see attachment) This problem occurs with all wine versions I have tested: 0.9.5x up to 0.9.60. kubuntu 7.10 notepad++ version: all recent one I have tested

Yes, this is still an issue with wine 1.1.6 or 1.1.7. kubuntu 8.04 notepad++ 5.01

It is only present without desktop graphic virtual emulation. It applies to both Ctrl-spacebar & Ctrl-enter.

Since there is an available download, you could (should) test it yourself, especially since it doesn't involve a huge download or a complicated procedure.
Also, you shouldn't have changed the severity to trivial. This is a UI display error, so a regular (normal) bug. Trivial bugs are ones that are trivially fixed, like a typo in a string for instance.

Works for me (Wine 1.9.6, Fluxbox, Arch Linux) with clean prefix and no desktop emulation. Please double check your configuration (create a clean prefix, reinstall Notepad++).
