Of course it did not work! I can go back in time 1 month and change Wine source then. The change was done only 2 days ago! And that is _EXACTLY_ what I said: "Today's GIT added a workaround:"

vitality, i am new to linux (2 weeks), therefore new to wine, so i don't really know what a GIT is.
as i said, admins please free to delete my messages or part of them, in case they offend someone, or are out of the picture.
i wish i could delete your offending message i'll just pretend i am INDEED blind to it :))
glad to see in further comments that the PlayOnLinux workaround works for others too. at least it's USEFUL.
