--- Comment #1 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- What about with a native amstream dll (don't forget to register it)
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41386
--- Comment #2 from Håkon haakobja@gmail.com --- amstream and Quartz overrides fixed the crash. Now I get sound from the loading screen, but then it hangs. The sound is playing as it should, but the game gui hangs. I wonder if it's because of an intro video not showing (I guess codec problems), as I have seen the same issue on Windows earlier where the sound is decoded but the video is not

--- Comment #3 from winetest@luukku.com --- You are using PlayonMac?
wine: configuration in '/Users/hakonb/Library/PlayOnMac/wineprefix/MotocrossMadness2' has been updated.
Anyway can you test newer wine?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41386
--- Comment #4 from Håkon haakobja@gmail.com --- Yes, I use PlayOnMac and PlayOnLinux, however with the Mac-version I do install the latest wine-staging versions that I've downloaded from wine-staging.com. I'll use the wine-staging versions from WineHQ from now. With PlayOnLinux I use the systemwide wine installation.
However, I found that this exception does not occur if I override the following libraries: - amstream, I get into the menu and it seems to be playable. However, I lack background music - amstream + quartz, I now get a gstreamer exception

This fails because of gstreamer

--- Comment #8 from Christian Weiske cweiske@cweiske.de --- I can confirm that with wine 3.19 on Ubuntu 16.04, the "unhandled page fault" crash is still there.
After using winetricks to install amstream and quartz dlls, it hangs because
0035:err:gstreamer:unknown_type Could not find a filter for caps: "video/x-msvideo" 0009:err:gstreamer:GST_Connect GStreamer failed to play stream
My system video player (Totem) is able to play the intro.avi file without problems, though.

--- Comment #9 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- Created attachment 67345 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=67345 console output
Tested with wine-5.9. With a native amstream dll, I have a problem with gstreamer. See the attached console output.
