Bug #: 31753 Summary: TrainingPeaks WKO+ Crashes when workout is viewed Product: Wine Version: 1.4 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: chris.teague@gmail.com Classification: Unclassified
Created attachment 41756 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=41756 stack trace of wko+ segfault
TrainingPeaks WKO+ 3.0 (trial at: http://www.trainingpeaks.com/linker.aspx?linkto=http://storage.trainingpeaks...)
Application installs fine, and at first loads fine. Go to "Calendar" tab, and double click on a workout in order to view it, and the application crashes. Looks like a segfault in MFC90.

--- Comment #1 from Bruno Jesus 00cpxxx@gmail.com 2012-09-20 14:10:12 CDT --- Please, update to the latest development version of wine and install the wine debug symbols package for your distribution or compile wine yourself and get a new log as seen in http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log The problem may already have been fixed in more recent wine versions.

--- Comment #5 from Bruno Jesus 00cpxxx@gmail.com 2012-09-20 18:34:10 CDT --- Are you testing in a clean prefix (no dll overrides)? It does not crash for me. Please, try again in a clean prefix and if the problem still happens attach a new log, read http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log again to learn how to get a combined log+crash and optionally obsolete all your older attachments during the new log upload.

--- Comment #7 from James McKenzie jjmckenzie51@gmail.com 2013-03-03 09:40:12 CST --- Chris: I experience the same thing with Wine 1.5.24 on Mac Snow Leopard. Do you have problems with uploading workouts using Device Agent where the workout will load and then the updater starts to run and finishes and then WKO+ crashes? Looks like a missing MFC90 call that WKO+ needs.

--- Comment #8 from James McKenzie jjmckenzie51@gmail.com 2013-03-03 09:45:46 CST --- Appears to be a duplicate of bug 26192. These functions use MFC 90 calls. Program also crashes when exited to close down an internal database. Log file attached from Wine's crash reporter.

--- Comment #10 from James McKenzie jjmckenzie51@gmail.com 2013-03-09 17:29:13 CST --- Program also crashes when trying to create a new event. This also happens with 1.3.35. Still tracing back to see if this ever worked.

--- Comment #11 from James McKenzie jjmckenzie51@gmail.com 2013-06-02 22:39:11 CDT --- The WKO+ program uses separate files for each recorded event. It appears the crash occurs whenever a new event is created, either through a device upload (which does create a new file) or whenever the 'new' icon is pressed and the time of the event is changed. What type of log file would be best to record these types of crashes? Don't want to turn on everything as that would create a rather large log file.

--- Comment #12 from James McKenzie jjmckenzie51@gmail.com --- The version of WKO+ that demonstrated this condition is no longer available and is not supported by Training Peaks. Please close bug report
