Workaround bug 27703 with native ie7, then launch the game with the winealsa driver. The first screen will show, but when the main menu should appear, you instead get a crash:

disabling sound, using OSS instead, or enabling hardware emulation all workaround it, though I still get an annoying buzzing sound.

WINE=./wine winetricks -q ie7 ./wine fishdom-2-premium-edition_en_trial.exe ./wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Playrix\ Entertainment/Fishdom\ 2\ Premium\ Edition/fishdom.exe
And it just brings up the wine desktop window, with a non-redrawing window inside of it, and sits there forever. winedbg tells me it's waiting in GetMessage(). A +mmdevapi,+alsa,+winmm,+dsound,+dsalsa log shows up absolutely nothing. Any tips?

fails here. Same problem without changing directories, so it's not that.
I'll attach a trace on my computer, with wine-1.3.24-97-g340643a.
